Initial-Education Level Qualification
Initial-Education Level Qualification
The Initial-Education Level Qualification (IE-Level Qualification) is a developmental assessment framework designed for three-year-old learners enrolled in Grade II1 of the I Education System. This qualification system focuses on cultivating five fundamental developmental domains:
Basic Cognitive Skills
Language and Communication Abilities
Motor Coordination Development
Social-Emotional Competence
Exploratory and Creative Capacities
The IE-Level Qualification framework, administered by IAS-IEAB, employs a distinctive pedagogical approach that fundamentally differs from conventional academic programs. Rather than offering discrete subject-based instruction in traditional disciplines such as mathematics or language arts, our curriculum adopts an innovative, integrated learning model with the following key characteristics:
Holistic Learning Methodology
All developmental domains are interwoven through thematic units
Subject boundaries are intentionally blurred to mirror real-world learning
Cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development occur simultaneously
Play-Based Instructional Design
Primary learning modality: Purposeful play activities
Carefully structured game scenarios serving specific developmental objectives
Environment as the "third teacher" (inspired by Reggio Emilia approach)
Neurodevelopmentally-Appropriate Structure
5-minute activity rotation cycles aligned with typical attention spans
Multisensory stimulation in each learning segment
Gradual progression from concrete to abstract experiences
No coursebooks are set for the IE-Level Qualification
It takes 1 year to complete the IE Level Qualification
The IE-Level Qualification employs a supportive assessment methodology, conducted exclusively by the IAS-IEAB Global Internal Assessment Team. This process ensures a consistent, guided, and internally validated evaluation, with no external assessment involvement.
The supportive assessment approach is designed to provide candidates with structured feedback and developmental insights, fostering professional growth while maintaining rigorous qualification standards.
Class Hour Requirements:
Completion of 338 instructional hours (including core and interdisciplinary modules).
Internal Assessment Requirements:
Successful passing of the IAS-IEAB internal evaluation, conducted by the Global Assessment Team.
